Air Tightness Testing
Working in conjunction with our mastic services, we also offer air tightness testing which results in savings for our clients. When tendering for a project, we are able to remove the air test skirts from our quote and only do them if a plot happens to fail as they aren’t always necessary for a pass result. Due to all of our testers also being fully trained in mastic, we are able to address the problem areas and re-test on the day without a re-test charge, saving both time and money.

Sound Insulation Testing

QUALITY CONTROL
In order to ensure that our standard of quality is maintained at all times, SK Sealants Ltd has two appointed operatives that carry out random spot checks on completed work which is then assessed and graded. Work is graded on the quality of its application and consistency throughout, ensuring that no items have been missed. Feedback is then given to the appropriate person and further action is taken if needed.

ABOUT
SK Sealants Ltd was established by Steven Kerr in 2017 after 20 previous years as a business partner at another sealant company. After building a successful and reputable name for himself, he decided to start business on his own, creating SK Sealants Ltd.
Originating from solely providing sealant application to new build houses and flats, hotels, hospitals, care homes, warehouses etc, SK Sealants has branched out to also offer air tightness testing and sound insulation testing. After experiencing endless implications caused by synchronisation issues between the mastic and air tests, which often resulted in short notice bookings and cancellations, Steven Kerr and Stephen Winkworth decided to broaden SK Sealants’ services to overcome these problems. After much success, they also decided to further broaden their services to offer sound insulation testing.
When providing all services on the same project, we are able to offer the contractor a package deal, often saving thousands of pounds depending on the size of the site. Bookings are also made much more flexible as they are all dealt with under one roof, helping to meet tight deadlines.
Servicing across Essex, London, Kent, Milton Keynes and the M25 orbital, all of our operatives are fully trained with the appropriate qualifications and are assessed on a regular basis so you can expect nothing but the best.
